Who Can Attend?
This programme is open to secondary school students and AS/A-Level or equivalent students, as well as foundation/university students aged between 17 and 20 years old. We emphasise discovering the leadership potential of every student, irrespective of their background. Participants will be challenged to think creatively and positively and work collaboratively with other students from across the world.

The cost of the six-day programme includes:

Upon receipt of the course fee, you will be mailed a packet with additional details about the programme and visa letters to the British High Commission. We accept payment via bank transfer upon registration or by cheque (made payable to “Cambridge Leadership Academy” with the participant’s name written on the reverse) or credit card (please note that a processing fee applies).
Entrepreneurship Curriculum – Week 2 (Optional)
We also offer an additional Entrepreneurship Curriculum for students who aspire to become the CEO of a start-up. Across more than 20 hours of teaching from leading experts in the fields of entrepreneurship, management, and leadership, students will learn how to boost their personal and professional development and turn their ideas into successful, marketable products.

CLAP Foundation (9 – 13 Years)
Available to school groups only, our foundation Cambridge Leadership Academy Programme (CLAP) is a tailored, on-demand leadership programme for students aged 9 to 13 years old. With a theme of “Young, Gifted & Successful” (YGS), the programme is hosted in Cambridge and lasts 10 to 12 days.

Please note that CLA reserves the right to withdraw any course or workshop session due to low enrolment.

Fees, Payments, and Cancellations
- A Non-Refundable Application Processing Fee is required upon application as a pre-requisite to processing an application to enrol at CLA. The applicant is responsible for ensuring that the CLA's non-refundable application processing fee of £50.00 is paid upon application.
- Payment per Person includes VAT (The applicant will cover bank charges and any other transfer to incur possible charges).
- Registration fee is required within 10 working days upon receipt of application (1st instalment required within this time frame if applicable (on request) with second instalment paid at a later agreed date) to secure enrolment.
- The registration fee will be fully refunded (Excluding bank charges incurred) for cancellations received in writing on or before Thursday, 12 December 2024. 75% of the registration fee (Excluding bank charges incurred) will be given for cancellations received in writing on or before Friday, 21 February 2025. 50% of the registration fee (Excluding bank charges incurred) will be given for cancellations received in writing on or before Friday, 28 March 2025. 25% of the registration fee (Excluding bank charges incurred) will be given for cancellations received in writing on or before Friday, 25 April 2025. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after Friday, 25 April 2025.
- Early bird rates are valid only for all applications received before or on 12 December 2024.
- Students who fail to attend the programme will NOT receive a refund. (Exceptions include if UK government legislation obliges us to cancel our programme in 2025. In this instance, your booking will automatically be deferred to Summer 2026).
- Please note the student is responsible for covering any applicable bank charges when making payment.

Visa Applications and Residence Requirements
Whilst advice can be given on request on visa applications, the student is strongly advised they have the correct visa to attend our programmes. It's the student's responsibility to ensure that they submit the correct documentation and that they comply with all UK and residence requirements before they commit to study on one of our programmes as we will not be held responsible for rejected visas and under no circumstances will any refund be made on grounds on lack of travel documents required to legally enter the UK. Please note the student shall also comply with all the immigration rules as required by the UK when entering to study for our course.

Tailored Programmes
For tailored programmes, 25% of the programme fee and the processing fee will be required on application. Registration will be fully refunded (excluding processing fee, bank charges incurred, and a 10% administration charge) for cancellations received in writing 6 months to a year prior to the programme start date. 50% (excluding processing fee and bank charges incurred) will be refunded for cancellations received in writing less than 6 months prior to the programme start date. No refunds will be given for cancellations received in writing 3 months or less than 3 months prior to the programme start date. Students who fail to attend the programme will NOT receive a refund.
